Democrats chairman Yair Golan addressed the incident at his supporters' gathering in Savyon, where right-wing protesters arrived and caused unrest, stating that "Netanyahu's poison machine sent thugs to our gathering, they attacked police officers and security guards, beat elderly women, injured a security guard and committed vandalism. Netanyahu rose to power on the back of incitement to Rabin's murder, and today, to survive, he's trying to recreate it. We are here to ensure he is removed from state leadership forever. Netanyahu, the blood that will be spilled is on your hands. I wish to embrace those who were hurt and wish them recovery."
