The IDF Arabic spokesman, Lt. Col. Avichay Adraee, published a broad and unusual evacuation notice to residents of several areas in northern Gaza Strip, including the entire Shuja'iyya neighborhood, Daraj, Tuffah, Zeitoun and part of Jabalia. The notice stated: "Terror organizations continue their activities in the area, therefore the IDF will expand its attack to destroy the capabilities of terror organizations in your area. From this moment, these areas will be considered a dangerous combat zone. These areas have been warned before, for your safety - move west immediately."
