Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said Wednesday he will prevent far-right lawmaker Itamar Ben to arrive at Damascus Gate for the Jerusalem flag march.
Following the recommendation of Shin Bet head, police commissioner, and public security minister, Bennett decided "not to allow political provocations to endanger the lives of IDF soldiers and Israel Police officers and to make their mission more difficult than it is."
In response MK Ben Gvir said that "If there won't be any compromise and an agreed outline between the police and the flag rally organizers, I will arrive at Damascus Gate without asking Bennett."
