Israeli military unaware of any Israeli shelling in Gaza City mass-casualty incident

The Israeli military said it knew of no shelling by its forces on an area west of Gaza City on Thursday where Palestinian medics said dozens of people were killed in an Israeli strike. "There is no knowledge of Israeli shelling in the area," a military spokesperson said.
