Former Supreme Court Chief Justice Miriam Naor has passed away Monday, at the age of 74.
In recent weeks, she has chaired the State Commission of Inquiry into last year's mount Meron disaster, in which no less than 45 people lost their lives.
"Naor was a respected jurist who has many years of work behind her," Prime Minister Naftali Bennett wrote on his Twitter page.
"Above all, she was a people's person. Pleasant, treats every person with respect and makes sure to say her words calmly."
