The man captured in a coastal operation in Batroun, northern Lebanon, allegedly carried out by an Israeli commando unit, was involved in smuggling weapons to Hezbollah from Syria via sea routes, Saudi network Al Hadath reported Saturday evening.
Sources cited by the network described the detainee as not a high-ranking Hezbollah member but an affiliate of the organization.
