Defense Minister Benny Gantz said in a joint statement with Greek Defense Minister Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos that "Iran is proving that it is a global and regional threat.
"We will continue the actions against its attempts to build bases on the borders with Israel."
Gantz added that "Israel sees Greece as a strategic ally, and together with Cyprus we will continue to strengthen the triple alliance in the Eastern Mediterranean. Our partnership is based on common interests, deep beliefs in democratic values and also on friendship, ties, and trust that we've built in recent years."
