Thousands of people attended the funeral of Rabbi Chaim Druckman on Monday, who passed away the previous day aged 90.
Attending the funeral were also Israeli officials including President Isaac Herzog, Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu, former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, and Defense Minister Benny Gantz.
"Rabbi Druckman was a man of unity and preached for Jewish unity during his first speech at the Knesset 38 years ago. We can't agree on everything in Israel, but I hold the same opinions as him and think we should reach agreements on fundamental topics that have to do with all of us," Netanyahu said during the funeral.
