IDF forces, in cooperation with the Shin Bet, attacked night approximately 40 engineering vehicles that were used for terrorist purposes against the IDF during the fighting in Gaza, and were also used in the October 7 massacre. They were attacked and destroyed on Tuesday. The IDF reported that "Hamas used these vehicles to plant explosives, dig underground bunkers, breach fences and clear rubble to locate weapons and military equipment located underneath them. The engineering vehicles that were attacked constitute a central component of Hamas' ability to carry out terrorist plots against IDF forces and the State of Israel," it added.
