Israel on Monday reported 452 new daily COVID cases diagnosed the previous day, with the virus' reproduction rate still standing at 1, indicating a renewed spread of the pathogen
The Health Ministry said 73,893 tests were conducted on Sunday, putting the national infection rate at 0.62%.
At least 131 patients are in severe condition, of whom 80 are ventilated. The official death toll now stands at 8,176.
