Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal won his 14th Roland Garros title and a record 22nd Grand Slam trophy after sweeping away his opponent Norwegian Casper Ruud 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 in the Sunday's final.
The Spaniard, 36, who carries a foot injury, has become the oldest player in history to win the premier clay event.
The Spaniard now has now extended his silverware lead over his two main rivals Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic who have won 20 Grand Slam titles each.
