The IDF issued a final warning on Saturday to residents of several neighborhoods in central Gaza, urging them to evacuate ahead of an expected strike.
IDF Arabic-language spokesperson Lt. Col. Avichay Adraee addressed residents of the Nuseirat refugee camp and the neighborhoods of Al-Iman, Al-Taqwa, Al-Basateen, Al-Zahraa, Al-Buwadi and Al-Nuzha in a message posted online.
“This is your final early warning before a strike,” Adraee wrote. “We will strike with maximum force any area from which rockets are launched. The terror organizations, primarily Hamas, bear full responsibility for the displacement and suffering of civilians.”
“For your safety,” he added, “you must move immediately to the designated shelters in Al-Mawasi.”
