The police arrested at least two suspects, both Israeli citizens, armed with a knife in the Machaneh Yehudah market in Jerusalem.
Israel Police Special Patrol Unit (Yasam) on site responded with gunshots towards the air, one officer is mildly injured after being shot in the leg by one of the terrorists.
Another officer seems to be mildly injured, after both were assaulted by the assailants while chasing them down.
It appears the attempt was of criminal motives, and not a terrorist attack- this is being looked into further.
Security forces are at the scene, searching for a third suspect.
