Israeli cabinet decides not to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza in near future

The security cabinet approved Thursday overnight that no humanitarian aid will be allowed into the Gaza Strip in the near future. However, it was agreed that when the time comes to permit aid entry, it will be done in a manner that prevents Hamas from seizing control of the supplies.
Several ministers called for an escalation of military operations in Gaza. Transportation Minister Miri Regev addressed IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, saying: "We can’t go on like this. We’re stagnating there."
