President of the Central District Magistrate's Court, Judge Menachem Mizrahi, ordered Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resubmit his updated medical file to verify the date of discovery of his prostate cancer. The decision was made at the request of journalist Uri Misgav and attorney Gonen Ben Yitzhak, as part of the prime minister's libel lawsuit. The judge wrote: "The plaintiff shall submit his updated medical file in a sealed and secured envelope. The file shall be accompanied by a signed letter from Dr. Zvi Herman Berkowitz confirming that this is the plaintiff's updated medical file presenting the current medical and health situation, particularly with reference to an original medical document, and its attachment, indicating the date of discovery of the plaintiff's prostate cancer."
