Rami Levy has decided not to bid for the "Israel Basket" tender initiated by the Economy Ministry, under which 100 products will be sold at reduced prices. The chain said it does not believe in price fixing and that this is a "limited and theoretical basket that does not represent a wide variety of the population and the actual basket in general." Victory supermarket chain has also decided not to bid for the tender. So far, it is known that Carrefour has submitted a bid.
