During a police operation, in pursuit of an ATV with suspects in an open area near Ma'ale Iron, shots were fired from the direction of the ATV toward police detectives. As a result of the shooting, one person was wounded and evacuated for medical treatment. Police forces are at the scene searching for the suspects. According to the Magen David Adom director general, the police officer, approximately 28 years old, is seriously and unstably wounded.
