Clashes during police operation in Tarabin: Youths threw stones, officers fired tear gas

|
Clashes erupted in the Bedouin town of Tarabin in the Negev between residents and police forces operating in the area. Young people threw stones at the officers who responded by firing tear gas. A stone was thrown at National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir who arrived at the scene. The clashes broke out following the arrest of three suspects for disturbing the peace and revenge attacks on Jewish communities, after they allegedly vandalized vehicles in the settlement of Givot Bar and Kibbutz Mishmar HaNegev. This is in addition to other detainees suspected of public disorder and possession of stolen military weapons.
