Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Russia attacked his country with ballistic missiles and that no advance warning was received from Ukraine's partners. "The main target was the TPP-4 power plant, unfortunately there were strikes and a residential building was hit," he said. He added that the power plant is one of Kyiv's main energy infrastructure facilities, and noted: "According to our intelligence, the Russians are preparing additional missile launches. This shows that they do not see fit to act according to what the U.S. president said. It is important that the world does not remain silent and that the U.S. sees what is happening and who is responsible for the continuation of the war." Meanwhile, local authorities in Kyiv updated that one person was killed and six were injured from a Russian missile strike on a residential building in the capital.
