The chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Deputy President of the Supreme Court Justice Noam Solberg, has ruled that members of polling station committees and observers on behalf of candidate lists and parties stationed at polling stations are not permitted to report on the identity of voters who came to cast their ballots during Election Day. This is according to an announcement from the Central Elections Committee. It was further stated that 'the transfer of information about the act of voting itself and its circumstances, including the time of voting and the type of polling station (polling stations in hospitals or polling stations for people with limited mobility, for example) constitutes an invasion of privacy and is not permitted under the provisions of the Privacy Protection Law.'
