The IDF spokesperson announced that "The IDF identified a missile launched from Yemen toward Israeli territory, defense systems are working to intercept the threat. Follow Home Front Command instructions." The IDF warned that sirens are expected to sound in Jerusalem, central Israel, the lowlands and Samaria, while massive protests are taking place in the capital and Tel Aviv. Protest organizers at both locations instructed participants to prepare for expected sirens.
