Nidal Dagar, 33, from the village of Rameh, was sentenced to life in prison plus four additional years for the murder of Rasha Sitawi, 30, in front of her 10-year-old daughter. The murder of Sitawi, a divorcee and mother of three children, occurred on November 25. According to the indictment, in July 2020 the deceased divorced her husband and moved from the village of Rameh with her three children to the village of Mrar. Police estimated at the time that another party sent Nidal to carry out the shooting. In addition to the prison term, the defendant will be required to compensate the deceased's children and brother 258,000 shekels.
