The Transportation Ministry updated that rescue flights from Dubai will ultimately take place during Friday, after the United Arab Emirates reconsidered the authorization that was granted. "Following coordination with all relevant parties, it was agreed that flights by Israeli airlines from Dubai to Israel will begin on Friday, but due to the need to complete the preparations and required coordination by security officials for operating the flights, a delay is expected in the departure time of the return flights from Dubai," it was reported. The statement further read: "The Transportation Ministry continues to work with all relevant parties, in Israel and abroad, to enable the flights to be carried out as soon as possible. Citizens staying in Dubai should remain in contact with the airlines from which flight tickets were purchased, and act according to their instructions and updates."
