Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived yesterday in New York ahead of the United Nations General Assembly. He said that "this visit comes in the wake of the cowardly war waged against us by the U.S. and Israel and the developments that followed. Our supreme goal is to participate in a major international forum to defend the legitimacy, rights and interests of the Iranian people. This year, we find ourselves in an even more critical situation. There are countries that see themselves as entitled to act as they wish, without any consideration for international institutions. A regime like Israel has a completely free hand to do whatever it wants."
