According to him, "It's like a fight between two kids who hate each other. Sometimes it's better to let them fight for a while - and then separate them." Trump said he also made this comparison of the two countries to children during his phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin the day before yesterday. "I told him, 'maybe you'll need to keep fighting and suffering a lot,' because both sides suffer before you separate them. You see it in hockey, you see it in sports," Trump said.
