Qatar's Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani condemned "Israeli violations in Palestine, especially turning the Gaza Strip into an uninhabitable area." According to him, "It's time to end the Israeli occupation. The Palestinian issue is not a terrorism issue, but one of prolonged occupation. It's time to end it. This is the basis for just peace. What happened in the Gaza Strip in the last two years is genocide."
