Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem said in a remotely broadcast speech that "Lebanon is in the heart of the storm and instability because of the U.S. and Israel." Qassem added: "The U.S. and Israel want guardianship. Disarmament is an Israeli-American plan, it is illogical to consolidate weapons under continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon."
