Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the 'Yisrael Beytenu' party, has appealed to the Attorney General demanding a decision regarding the filing of an indictment against Tzachi Braverman, former chief of staff to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and others before the elections. This comes in the wake of Nadav Eyal's expose in Yedioth Ahronoth about the alteration of protocols in the Prime Minister's Office and Braverman's admission on the matter. On their behalf, it was stated that 'these are suspicions of committing some of the most serious offenses in the law books, especially if it involves the Prime Minister and his associates.' Given the proximity to the election date, the party requested the Attorney General's response by October 16.
