Herzog calls for dialogue to begin after legislation temporarily halted

President Issac Herzog called on Benjamin Netanyahu, Benny Gantz and Yair Lapid to form negotiation teams that could begin discussions on a compromise proposal for a judicial overhaul after the prime minister announced he would stall his controversial legislation for a few months.
Herzog said he would continue to represent the concerns of civil groups after many were untrustful of Netanyahu's motives and feared his legislative agenda still posed a risk.
