IDF announces 3 new F-35i 'Adir' aircraft join Air Force

An IDF spokesman reported Sunday that three F-35i "Adir" aircraft manufactured by Lockheed Martin landed at the Nevatim Air Force Base last week. The three aircraft will join the ranks of the Air Force and the "Lions of the South" Squadron (116), and the aircraft will bear the Air Force emblem. Since the outbreak of the war, the "Adir" formation has flown more than 15,000 operational flight hours, and has taken part in thousands of sorties in all theaters. The IDF said that "most of the senior Hezbollah and Hamas leaders were eliminated by the 'Adir' formation."
