Setting off back to Israel, Bennett says Biden meet was 'warm, effective'

Before boarding a plane back to Israel from Washington, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said his meeting with U.S. President Joe Biden over the weekend was "warm and effective," adding that both leaders have a "close and personal relationship based in trust."
"We have achieved all of the goals we have set out for ourselves," he said. "We agreed on joint strategic work to halt Iran's race towards a nuclear weapon."
Bennett also said that Biden ordered work to began on possibly putting Israel on the U.S. visa waiver list.
Regarding the Israeli strikes in Gaza Saturday overnight, the prime minister said that Israel will continue to act in the enclave "as it sees fit," adding that Hamas is to blame for any escalation in tensions.
