Throughout the past 10 days President Zelensky and Ukrainian government officials have offered Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett to visit Kyiv as part of his mediation efforts.
Over the weekend, the Prime Minister's office has involved the Shin Bet in initiating security preparations for Bennett to visit Kyiv on short notice.
Israel has emphasized to Ukraine that Bennett is willing to come on the condition that Ukraine will take significant steps towards negotiation.
