Israeli forces this week thwarted an attempt to smuggle six IEDs into northern Israel, the IDF and Israel Police said in a joint statement Tuesday morning.
"The forces located a bag containing the explosive devices, which were neutralized in the field by bomb disposal experts," said spokespeople for the police and army. "We will continue to act to locate and thwart any intent to smuggle arms by hostile terrorist elements abroad that endanger the security of the state and its citizens."
