Transport minister says Israel to earmark record budget to upgrade infrastructure

Transportation Minister Miri Regev announced on Tuesday that her ministry will receive a record budget of NIS 50 billion ($13.7 billion) over the next five years, primarily dedicated to improving the country's infrastructure.
"This is the largest budget invested to date in road infrastructure and public transportation in Israel," the minister said.
