The IDF said Tuesday that Sgt. Maj. (res.) Ayal Uriel Bianco, 30, of Katzrin, was killed in combat in southern Lebanon when the Humvee he was in overturned.
Bianco served as the driver of a firefighting vehicle in the 188th Brigade, the military said.
The military said one reservist was moderately wounded in the same incident and two other reservists were lightly wounded. All were evacuated to a hospital for treatment and their families were notified.
