The United States and Turkey have reached an agreement to ensure the safe withdrawal of U.S.-backed Kurdish Syrian forces from the besieged town of Manbij, a Syrian opposition source said on Monday. The Kurdish group SDF "have withdrawn from the city, and still need to withdraw from the other areas" east of the city, said the Syrian opposition source familiar with the matter.
