Two casualties in Highland Park shooting were Jewish, local Jewish community says

|
Two victims of the shooting at Highland Park's July 4 parade come from Jewish backgrounds, a survey by the Jewish community in Chicago showed Tuesday.
An examination by the Israeli consulate in Chicago found that there were no Israeli citizens among the dead. In addition, there is no indication that the incident had an antisemitic motive.
The shooter, Robert Crimo III, 22, was arrested last night at the end of a manhunt.
