UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said he was "deeply concerned by the increase in settler violence in the West Bank" and by calls for Israel to annex the territories. Guterres referred to the cease-fire in the Gaza Strip, saying it was "fragile" and that "continuation of the war must be avoided."
