Likud reaches coalition deal with Religious Zionist party

Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party on Thursday, signed a coalition agreement with the Religious Zionist party headed by Bezalel Smotrich.
The party will be given the Finance Ministry for half the government's term, and hand it over to the Shas party for the second half. It will assign a minister to the Immigration and Absorption Ministry, and a new ministry to be named National Missions Ministry.
A member of the party will assume responsibility over settlements under the Defense Ministry, and will also head the Knesset Constitution, Law and Justice Committee.
