Foreign Minister Israel Katz on Friday praised Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to the United Nations General Assembly, calling it an “important speech” delivered with the families of hostages present in the hall.
Katz said Netanyahu clearly conveyed that the Iranian regime and its terrorist proxies pose a threat to all nations of the free world, which must choose “between a future of blessing and peace with the region or a future of curse and war against terror.”
Katz reiterated that Israel will continue its fight against its enemies until every hostage is returned, Hamas is destroyed and northern residents displaced by recent hostilities with Hezbollah can safely return to their homes. Netanyahu’s speech highlighted Israel’s resolve to combat terrorism and defend its citizens amid ongoing regional tensions.
