The IDF announced it would soon begin the recruitment of six reservist battalions, who would reinforce military forces stationed in the West Bank, amid heightening security tensions.
The decision was made at the end of a security assessment in the volatile area, and is meant to allow the continuation of ongoing operations meant to prevent the entrance of terrorists and illegal residents into Israel.
