Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares called on Israel to withdraw from Syria and Lebanon, in order to "ensure stability and peace for all." He made the remarks at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Albares visited Damascus last week and, as part of the renewal of relations with the new Syrian government of Ahmed al-Sharaa, reopened the Spanish embassy in the country, which had been closed for the past 12 years.
