Police thwart largest arms smuggling attempt recorded from Jordan

Police forces foiled an arms smuggling attempt into Israel across the Lebanese border on Thursday in which officers seized 137 illegal weapons, including 17 M-16 rifles and 250 ammunition clips – making the attempt the largest one ever recorded.
According to estimates, the overall price of the seized weapons amounts to 6 million shekels.
