Israel will send firefighting planes to Greece to help battle wildfires

The Prime Minister's Office announced that Israel will send two firefighting planes to Greece, to help it control an outbreak of wildfires. The planes are expected to leave on Thursday morning. "Israel will stand by Greece in dealing with the giant fires, and appreciates Greece's contribution to extinguishing fires in Israel in the last decade," the bureau said in a statement (Itamar Eichner and Moran Azulay)
