Otzma Yehudit on Smotrich resignation: ‘No need for unnecessary coalition infighting’

Following Religious Zionist Party leader Bezalel Smotrich’s resignation from his ministerial posts to return to the Knesset—replacing MK Yitzhak Kroizer—Otzma Yehudit said the move was made “in good spirits” and stressed it would not lead to friction within the coalition.
“If it doesn’t work out, there’s no need for Norwegian Law MKs,” the party said in a statement. Kroizer will now be appointed director general of Otzma Yehudit.
