Herzog lands in Rwanda in first Africa trip since war, will attend genocide memorial

President Isaac Herzog arrived in Rwanda on Sunday where he is scheduled to hold meetings with international leaders and participate in a memorial ceremony marking the 30th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide.
During this visit, the first by an Israeli leader to Africa since the outbreak of the war, the president will join dozens of international leaders in the ceremony and conduct policy meetings emphasizing the urgent need to secure the release of hostages held by Hamas. (Itamar Eichner)
