The Authority for Prisoners and Former Prisoners of the Palestinian Authority confirmed that the Arab-Israeli terrorist Walid Daka died at Assaf Harofeh Hospital "due to the deterioration of his health." In June of last year, the Special Parole Committee definitively rejected the request of Daka, one of the murderers of soldier Moshe Tamam in 1984, for early release due to his deteriorating health. This is after Daka, who has cancer, submitted a request claiming that he had a terminal condition and wanted to die close to his family members outside of prison. (Einav Halabi)
