Iran's Defense Minister Esmaeil Khatib said that the "assassination" of Revolutionary Guards official Sayyad Reza Mousavi "is a crime that came after Israel failed to deal with the resistance, and it will bring severe consequences." The commander of the Iranian army, Abd al-Rahim Mousavi, claimed that "the assassination of Mousavi once again revealed Israel's incompetence." (Lior Ben Ari)
