After U.S. Intelligence Chief Tulsi Gabbard aligned with President Donald Trump and claimed last night that "Iran is weeks to months away from a bomb," an intelligence source in the U.S. told Reuters that "the assessment Gabbard presented in March has not changed." According to the source, American intelligence services estimated it would take Iran up to three years to build a warhead capable of hitting a target of their choosing. David Albright, a former UN nuclear inspector, also cast doubt on Gabbard's statements, estimating it would take Iran at least six months to produce a "crude nuclear device" that cannot be delivered by missile, and between one to two years to produce one that can be delivered to a target by missile.
