The Shin Bet and police arrested Shimon Azarzer, 27, from Kiryat Yam and his partner last month on suspicion of "security offenses involving contact with Iranian intelligence agents and carrying out security missions under their guidance." According to the suspicion, Azarzer transferred photos and locations of sensitive sites in Israel to intelligence agencies in Iran. An indictment is expected to be filed today at the Haifa District Court against the couple. The investigation revealed that Azarzer "used his partner, who serves in the reserves, to obtain information about the IDF and Air Force bases."
